Arrived home yesterday evening (Tuesday, January 2nd) from visiting my side of our family in Florida. (Miss you, Mom!)
We smelled natural gas as we walked in the door– ruh-roh! We couldn’t find any actual leak, but our oven is/was quite old and has been acting up with small emissions of gas every so often. Made plans to purchase a new stove today, January 3rd… incidentally our 4th wedding anniversary.
Got up this morning, some errands went awry, we bought new stove and moved it in, moved out old stove, I smashed 3 of my fingers in the process of moving old stove out (one of them still hurts– hubby says I may have done a little damage, but not broken it), and my poor hubby is dealing with a chest cold. We’ve been sick on and off throughout our vacation visiting my family in Florida. I’m out of sorts, but dealing.
What an anniversary! Still, I’m hopelessly in love with the love of my life, my incredibly amazing husband.
Happy (4th) Anniversary, Sweetheart! It’s been a wondrous 4 years… truly the good, the bad, and the ugly! Thank you for being there with me through everything, and for wanting to go through this life with me. You’re my true love, my best friend, my answer to prayer, and the half of my heart that my soul longed for for so long. I love you. Always.
