Huge Thanks!

First I want to thank everyone who’s written such supportive notes to encourage me while I’ve been dealing with the sudden loss of my friend Nattie. I’ve just not had much to say, nor felt very sociable, and therefore haven’t been blogging or visiting others’ blogs to comment.

I think I’m getting back into the swing of things, though, and I just wanted to thank you all for the kind words that have helped me keep my chin up. Honestly, I’ve been in a bit of a slump lately– a writing slump, a spiritual slump, you name it… it’s probably a slump.

I also wanted to update you re: the Group Writing Challenge, “What is an Artist?” I’ve seen some of the submissions, and those I haven’t I will be visiting soon! I’ll also be updating the post and pages related to the writing challenge soon! Feel free to contribute– there is no deadline, as I’d love to see this one continue on and on!

I’ve got a few posts almost ready to go, so I can get back on the blogging train! After all, that’s what Nattie loved best!

    You’re welcome Julia,

I’m standing in the eye of a storm right now myself. That’s why I took a temporary leave of absence to spend some quality time with loved ones. Don’t rush. Take as much time as you need. The people who love you will be here when you get back.

From one who shares your pain,
    Manchild

Nice to see you back again. Hope you pick up quickly from your slump.
    Take care.

It’s no coincidence that the spiritual slump and the writing slump are happening at the same time, Julia. I hope you can write your way back to feeling a bit more human soon. Hugs.
