I think I fit in the “pushover” category. Oops!
Which one best describes you and your freelancing methods? Can you think of any more”breeds” or definitions?

I’m the pushover mixed with the no business sense…I think that the two go hand-in-hand.
I think that there needs to be a Feast or Famine Freelancer. I would fit in there really well.
Oooh, good suggestion, Tammi!
I didn’t add it originally (I will, though!), but I think I fit best in the “pushover” definition, and would probably fit into “feast or famine,” too! That’s great thinking! Now we just need to come up with a good definition…

That was way too cool! Thanks for posting the link. I’m partly a 2 and partly an 11. But not the total sum of either. I usually do think I’m cool (likely I’m not) — but when it comes to writing I can help out clueless clients (see there I go talking like I’m better). But I also listen to others, which does not fit. And I hold back the eye rolling when I work on say, client resumes… so I’m not scaring folks. And as for the “In it for the money” category (#2) — I am. But it’s not because I lost something along the way. It’s because I do always think of writing as my job…not a calling or a magical art form. It pays the bills. And along the way it’s better than dealing with co-workers.
Hmmm, can we have an “Island of Misfits” category?
